OUR OBJECTIVES:
We will strive to provide a community-based children’s musical and
dramatic performing arts organization for the purposes of:
• Presenting quality family entertainment.
• Creating
opportunities for children and teenagers to develop talents in all aspects of theatre arts.
• Providing recognition
and support to encourage the youth of Horry County.
We will strive to provide students of all ages with the means
to actively explore the beauty, diversity, complexity and challenges of the world around them through the dramatic process.
We will strive for our students to develop their own unique creative voice, their imagination and their understanding of drama
and its role in society. Along the way we will teach responsibility, self-esteem and practical life skills.
Goals
to support this will be:
• To sponsor numerous productions each year.
• To present classes and workshops each
year.
• To be recognized as a significant cultural asset by the local community.
• To develop and draw from
local talent.
• To enhance development of youth in the theatre arts through cooperative ventures with local schools,
churches, businesses and organizations.
WHO WE ARE:
We are educators, artists, parents, college students, business
owners and business professionals. We have seen a great need in Horry County and are dedicating our time and our resources
to making this vision a reality.
